Last one on Italy!

Ok everyone!!! I have just posted a ton of stuff! I decided to split it all up by location. We visited 4 towns on our week long trip, Rome, Florence, Orvieto and Venice.  Each was super amazing and I am so glad we were able to make this trip! We flew into Rome and out of Venice and we stayed with Melissa in Orvieto in between then in Venice for 2 nights. It was a long trip and very eventful! I got to see so much that I’ve studied and heard about that’s so famous but never imagined in my lifetime I would get to see. It’s easy to say that this trip alone had made my adventure to Germany completely worth it! And it makes me super excited to continue to Travel other places and see! Our next trip will be to Paris, France April 20th!

Out of all the places we had been planning to go I figured that I would LOVE Venice and would want to go back. Well in reality I was not impressed with Venice as much as I was with Rome. Rome to me was AMAZING! Yes it was crowded and crazy busy for 2 reasons, one it’s just that kind of town, and two it was Easter weekend. But the things I got to see were just breathtaking, especially after I have studied all of them in school and knew so much about them, getting to actually see them was like a dream!

But on another Note, I do not like Italians, for many reasons. Italians themselves are rude and pushy.  The Italian culture is completely different than the German culture, and I’m really glad I chose to study in Germany! Italians are lazy and they can never finish anything. I saw a lot of buildings and structures that were only half finished then they gave up and moved on. It’s like they start tons of stuff but never finish any of it. They also have no since of order, they do not believe in lines and being nice. You go to pay for stuff and there are no lines and people cut in front and push their way up. Also if you go to a restaurant and sit down to order, the food is expensive in the first place and secondly they charge you a $2 setting fee and then 10% of your total on top of that. And everywhere we ate the portions were super small and we left with a huge bill and still hungry. Germans know how to feed people and it’s still a reasonable price! J

Also there is Cats EVERYWHERE!!! Cats in Italy are like Squirrels at home. Then there are Pigeons which are all over everywhere too!

I took 730 pictures on this adventure but I am only going to post a few of them, so when I get home I will have to show everyone all of them! Just too many pictures to post!

Soooo you guys can comment on things and we can talk about everything! I had a blast and I have TONS more pictures to show everyone but that will have to wait till I get home! I image I will have taken over 5,000 pictures but the time I come home!! We just booked out Hotel for Next weekend in Paris!! YAY!!! Miss everyone!! <3
